Hairbow 4 Ways on The Dizain Collective

As you probably know, I have been a contributor on the NZ blog The Dizain Collective. Every Friday I post up a little "Happy Friday" design and I post up the odd inspiration moodboard here and there. On Monday, I posted my very first beauty tutorial. It's definitely not complicated, nor is it very advanced but we all have to start somewhere! You can check it out here

If you are in New Zealand, you will understand what I mean when I say it has been FREEZING this week. Slash the last month and a half. I suppose I can't really complain.. It's not as bad in Auckland as it is in the South Island. HOWEVER. 9 degrees (celcius) is not to be frowned upon!

I was going through my photos and found some of Bondi Beach from the Australia trip Rob and I went on in February. Man how I wish it was Summer now! I thought I was a Winter chick but this Winter has been way too cold for me. Only.. 6 more months haha!

Well, I for one am glad that it's the weekend tomorrow! Not to say that this has been a bad week - I sold 2 Etsy invitations! But I'm just keen to kick my feet up and have a bit of a relax.

This week, I feel like I've gotten back into the swing of things a bit. It's awesome having Wednesday Letterplay II every week and even though I've been slack with designing invitations for my Etsy store, I have tons of ideas so that's something!

I've been pretty darn quiet on this blog lately. BUT, never fear. Wednesday Letterplay will hopefully be back next week (if we can get our A's into gear). And I'll post up some of the invitations that I've been putting up on Etsy. They are looking mighty fine if I do say so myself.

SOO. Apparently, this week "The Great Gatsby" is coming out. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I don't know much about the story.. Or the movie.. But Laura from The Dizain Collective asked me to do a Gatsby themed "Happy Friday" this week. I had no idea where to start. But I googled Gatsby and saw the movie artwork and decided I'd try my hand at it. So here we go.

This week has been a good one :) I did my first ever boxing class last night. It was awesome. And I'm really feeling it today haha! But I loved pushing myself physically and mentally so I will be definitely going back next week. Also! I have a 21st birthday to go to tonight (and I also designed her invitations) so stay tuned for that soon!

Thank goodness it's the weekend! Seems like I spend most of my week just waiting for Friday! It's been a good week though. I've got a few potential design jobs and I'm even designing a sweet label at work! Will show you later on :)
