Wednesday Letterplay II :R is for Rocket

This week was definitely a cute one! It's also another letter that we changed the week before. At the beginning of this round, Tillie and I decided to choose what each letter will be and we have changed quite a few of them. I guess your initial ideas aren't always the best ones which is a big lesson to be learned in the creative world.

Wednesday Letterplay II : Q is for Quillt

Well everyone, this week's letterplay was Q is for Quilt. This one was a little hard, just because there isn't really anything you can do except for using cute floral patterns that look like they belong to a quilt. But oh well! Anything is better than nothing.

Exciting news! Tillie has moved over to Melbourne! We shall continue on with our Letterplay - despite the huge distance between us and we are currently looking at ideas for a new creative project next year! It's all very exciting and I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for all of us.

Here we go! Sorry about the delay. I think that might have to be my catch phrase for this round of letterplays. HOWEVER. I moved back home over the weekend and in 6 days, Tillie will be moving to Melbourne! So exciting!

This week is definitely a lot different to what I'm used to. However, when we decided to do Party for P I thought that I would HAVE to do a Miley inspired Letterplay. I'm actually really happy how it's turned out. I love it when I challenge myself and end up happy with the results (it doesn't happen often!)

Well, would you look at this.. We are on time for once! I think this half of our second letterplay will go a bit more smoothly than the first half.

This week, O is for Owl. I left it to the last minute but am still pretty happy with it! Maybe I should work on an owl typeface - I think it would be pretty cute.

What's this?! A Wednesday Letterplay ACTUALLY on a Wednesday?! That's right. This week we are SO onto it. Maybe because it was a little easier.

I decided to try and do something hand drawn this week and I'm rather happy with how it's turned out. I think for the second half of our letterplays I will really push myself to step out of my comfort zone. Here's hoping it's a success!

This weekend, the mister and I are going to Christchurch to visit my Dad! Stay tuned for some shots - time to practice my photography skills.

We are so close to falling off the band wagon. At the moment it seems like a fortnight letterplay rather than weekly but I'm sure we will get back into it. Tillie is in the middle of getting ready to move to Australia in December so neither of us have really had our heart in it - but we will make it to the end! This week marks our halfway point. Hopefully we will turn it around and get back to designing and posting regularly.

We are back on track! At least we usually post on a Wednesday, just not always weekly. This week was KISS! I went for hand drawn typography - which is not something that I've had much practice in. I think it looks pretty cute though!

Well, we have been rather slack :/ For some reason, this round has been a lot harder. We've both been pretty busy though, and Tillie is currently in the middle of prepping to leave for Melbourne in December! Super exciting for her :)

Well. Here we are. Another week gone! I can't believe it's nearly August. This year has gone way too fast for my liking. In fact - it's my birthday next week! I've got lots planned and I'm sure I'll share it with you.

So, this week almost didn't happen. On Sunday I woke up feeling awful and then ended up having to take Monday and Tuesday off. Safe to say I didn't feel up to doing any design work at all. I'm on the mend though! And found I didn't have any excuse to NOT do our letterplay for this week.
