365 Miles Over Days : February Update

Well, I think that this month was better. I actually stayed on track (28 miles/28 days) but I'm still a few miles behind from January. This month, Rob is getting more involved, so I think that will help me to stay a little more motivated. I'm definitely going to try and keep my running stats up this month because in February, my walking/running stats started to even out a bit.
My biggest failure this month was the extra challenge for February. With the squat challenge, it was a bit easier to complete because you can do squats anywhere and in any clothes. If I wanted to do the five minutes of skipping everyday, I had to get on my sports bra and my sports gear. This definitely stopped me from doing it but I tried my best to get over half way and I succeeded! Small victories huh? I also ran my first 5km (3 miles) which was pretty awesome and I've improved my running pace quite a bit which means I'm getting closer to my 6km in 30 minutes goal. Hopefully this month will be about me owning that 5km run. Don't forget that you can still join in on our 365MilesOverDays challenge - it will be a little hard to catch up but at least it's start! And you can even follow our progress on Instagram using the hashtag #365milesoverday

  1. I'm going to get my gear on now and get out there! I think although my eating is now sublime, my measurements are probably bigger than last time and while I'm still super positive bout my body... my clothes are not. Haha. Enough about me. Go you! I don't think I could ever run 5km. (Now I'm gonna go prove myself wrong.)

    You are an inspiration!

    1. Whooohooo! You go girl! I never thought I would like running but it's the only form of exercise that I've done that has stuck and really made a difference. You are doing so well with your eating though, and I think eating healthy is so important - although, my diet probably isn't the best haha! But whatever works for you is what you should stick with. As long as you are happy, life is good :)

  2. Man I have a lot of catching up to do! The wedding totally got in the way :-P. I think I will struggle with this months challenge as we don't have any stairs at home o_O

    1. Haha! Wedding totally wins :) And you still have 9ish months to catch up - you'll be right! Bummer about the stairs - have you got any at work? I'm lucky that my office is up one flight of stairs so it's not too hard to fit it into my day.

    2. We do have one set of stairs at work but it's narrow and heavily used, looks like I will have to go up and down early in the morning.
