After dinner on Tuesday night, Rob took me out for ice cream. I forgot to take a photo of our Movenpicks (so so good!) so I thought I'd take a few night snaps instead. Night snaps can be pretty tricky (obviously - there isn't a whole lot of light.) I honestly had no idea what I was doing, but the camera seemed to, so we actually ended up with a couple of goodies. Having this blog has definitely encouraged me to get my camera out a bit more and it's really great seeing myself improve and starting capturing some lovely moments.
Yes - shooting at night is such a skill! But with some practice, you'll have it in no time :)
ReplyDeleteI agree! I find now that I'm 'blogging' - I try and make the effort to take my camera out a bit more! No point having one for it to gather dust!
Haha thanks! I was mucking around with settings (I don't have a DSLR) and then suddenly these happened! I'm pretty happy with the way they've turned out.
DeleteAnd for sure! It's also nice to have a reason to photograph - definitely helps to motivate you to get the camera out.
I'm a sucker for a footsie (as opposed to selfie :p) !!! Awesome shots! Agree with both you and Dawn. I love taking my camera places now with a purpose :)
