While we were on holiday, Rob and I decided to make the most of the wonderful weather. He had told me about this track up in the Waitakere Ranges which led to a lovely little waterfall so, of course, we had to go.
It took us about an hour and a half, including a few stops. There were some killer stairs on the way back which definitely slowed us down a bit (a lot!) It only works out to be about 6km but it's a lot harder than a 6km walk around the streets. I totally loved it though and am rather keen to try out a few of the other walks around Auckland. As you can see, it's a beautiful place I live in. Time to explore.
